Welcome to YMCA Health & Wellness Center

Opened in May of 2019 as the newest addition to the YMCA of the Virginia Peninsulas, this state-of-the-art center offers an indoor pool, an indoor track, and a dedicated Pilates studio.

M-TH: 5 a.m.-8:30 p.m.
F: 5 a.m.-7:30 p.m.
SAT: 6 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
SUN: 7 a.m.-2:30 p.m.

Child Watch Hours

Reformer Pilates

The Pilates Reformer focuses on core stabilization by targeting the smaller underused muscles to improve overall balance and strength.

Shauntrice Williams was born and raised in Bethesda, Maryland, and, as a child, attended the YMCA summer day camp in Montgomery Village, Maryland. She has spent the last 13 years as a Corps Officer/ Executive Director for The Salvation Army where she served in Savannah, Georgia, Augusta, Georgia, Martinsville, Virginia, Suffolk, Virginia, and Fredericksburg, VA. She attended Liberty University, where she received her BS in Business Economics and Finance, then attended The Salvation Army College for Officer training in Atlanta, Georgia, and Trevecca Nazarene University, where she received her BA in Practical Ministries. Shauntrice describes herself as a servant leader, producer, and vision-caster who believes in efficiency and continual improvement through collaboration and strategic planning. She has a heart for youth work and a desire to mentor and disciple young people to help them reach their full potential. Her passion for the YMCA and its work is fueled by an unwavering commitment to make a difference in the lives of the people she serves and the community she lives in.
